In a new executive order, President Musk & the DOUCH Boys have targeted the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), the federal agency charged with distributing Congressionally approved funds to state libraries and to library, museum, and archives program grant recipients. The executive order stipulates that the funding for IMLS should be cut to the legal minimum. I would bet that Trump has never read an entire book in his adult life, and we know from several reliable reports that he can barely read. He definitely doesn’t want his voters to be critical readers, so it’s no surprise that he sees no value in funding libraries. Congress must demand that the IMLS be fully funded!
