I never saved on taxes with the 2017 Trump tax cuts. So I don’t care if they stay. My tax situation was the same before it was implemented as after. I was retired from teaching in 2015 and even paid more taxes after the supposed cut. Everyone in my area saw the same outcome. I just wish wealthy people didn’t have tax loopholes to pay less taxes than me. You better not go after my Social Security or Medicare. I’m too old to make adjustments. I don’t mind paying taxes on my Social Security if it helps keep it solvent. I think not paying taxes on tips is ridiculous. When you start making the federal budget, remember people like me, the Southern Indiana retired teacher.
