I implore you to defend our constitutional right to protest, and demand the immediate release of Mahmoud Khalil. Mahmoud is a lawful permanent resident who has been detained without charges in retaliation for exercising his First Amendment rights. Whether or not we agree with him is not the point. His rights under the Constitution are clear. He deserves to be released immediately before he misses the birth of his child.
