It’s devastating to watch news clips and see pictures of people deported. The cruelty of this administration is mind boggling! How can you put a couple on a plane back to Colombia who have been here 35 years to leave behind their children and grandchild. Imagine if it was your son-in-law or daughter-in-law affected by this. How can you snatch young men off the streets and send them to an El Salvador prison? Think of how that affects these households, their children or wives. How is this happening in this country? I’m so ashamed. These people are doing the jobs no one else wants to do. Roofing. Plowing. Landscape. Fruit and vegetable picking. Lousy factory jobs. There are not people lining up to do these jobs plus they pay taxes and SS and get nothing in return.
The silence on both sides of the aisle in congress is shameful, heart wrenching. Where are your hearts? We voted you in BUT NOT FOR THIS. You are all breaking your oath to the Constitution by not standing up to these monsters in charge of these atrocities. Crimes against Humanity. You’re all complicit in your silence.
