Our nation's representatives have an ethical and moral obligation to uphold the rule of law and defend democratic principles, regardless of party affiliation. The alarming events unfolding demand a unified, bipartisan response that transcends partisan loyalties. We cannot allow a disregard for the Constitution and the sacred institutions that underpin our democracy. Congress must take immediate action to condemn any attempts to undermine the peaceful transfer of power or subvert the will of the people. Complacency and inaction in the face of such grave threats are a dereliction of duty. It is imperative that our elected officials demonstrate true leadership and unwavering commitment to the values upon which our republic is founded. The American people deserve representatives who will put country before party and stand firmly against any forces seeking to erode our democratic norms and processes.
