Food insecurity has severe impacts on physical and mental health, especially for children whose development can be permanently stunted by lack of nutritious food. With rising costs due to inflation, more families are being pushed into food insecurity. Restoring TEFAP funding is critical to support food banks and ensure no Hoosier goes hungry.
