In a recent statement, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin claimed that his agency's mission is to make it cheaper for Americans to buy cars, heat their homes, and run their businesses. These are good goals in themselves, but the EPA has always had the mandate of monitoring human health and the environment while other agencies pursue these goals. Do you intend to reframe the EPA's mission as an act of Congress? Or will you continue to get the Trump administration twist the truth and make you powerless? Please take action to protect American people and our neighbors from pollution, greed, and overdevelopment in the name of shortsighted economic benefits.
