I’m writing as a concerned Californian to urge you in the strongest possible terms: please do not allow any sharing of our state’s voting records or voter data with DOGE, the Department of Justice, or any agency under the Trump-aligned administration. There is clear and growing concern that such data could be weaponized to target, suppress, or intimidate Democratic voters — especially in key states like ours that serve as a model for fair and inclusive elections. California must stand firm as a bulwark against these tactics. Our voter data belongs to the people, not to those who would use it to undermine democracy. Thank you for your continued leadership.
