I urge you, as one of many, many constituents who could be stripped of my voting power should the SAVE Act, H.R. 22, pass the House. This is a phony argument, an excuse of a bill of legislation, by the GOP to insist that fraud is present in the voting process, just because they want to win the rigged game over and over again. I don't want any more GOP members in power, as they, as you know, have wreaked intense havoc on our institutions, by backing an unelected billionaire bigot like Elon Musk and chasing bribes and ultra-wealthy stockholders, donors, and lobbyists. Should the Democrats cave to this attempt to strip us of our freedom that we are GUARANTEED from the moment we were born, not only will the GOP be blamed, but the Democrats will be blamed even more for betraying their many vulnerable constituents. I am a minority woman, who does not have the luck of being born a white person, who is already disadvantaged. I don't want my voting rights to be gone along with the feeling of safety I used to have in the country. I want the power to elect someone I want, someone who represents me, and I, as a common constituent, am not okay with the clock going back 100 years to when women did not have the right to vote. You as a woman must understand as well, that this legislation is trying to strip all of us women of our power as citizens. You as a woman would not be in this level of power in government, had it not been for our predecessors, who fought tooth and nail to have the basic right to have a voice in their government. I know I am a nobody out of so many people you represent, and I do not expect you to know me by name, or even anything about me. But you were once among the rankings of me, a normal citizen. Please listen to your conscience, as a member of the opposing party, and do not listen to anyone trying to deter you otherwise, whether they're bribes or lobbies. We need you to use your best, most sound, freedom preserving judgment. Please look at Senator Cory Booker and his fellow colleagues in the Senate as they filibuster. Democrats do not have many tools, as they are vastly overpowered at the moment, but this should not be an excuse to give up and give in to an obviously evil party. The least you could do is vote no to this toxic act that will cause devastating results for so many people, as this act is directly targeted at women, and well may be also targeted at members of the LGBTQ+ community, all of whom you have overwhelming support of in elections. Please don't betray us. This is coming from one tiny constituent, begging you to do the right thing. And please tell your colleagues to do the same. This should not be looked at as normal times. This is a time for people to fight. All us non-government official citizens can do is speak out to each other and protest, but it is people like you who have the direct power to turn the future even brighter, or darker than ever.
