I previously wrote in February about preserving Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Haitians and Venezuelans. Now, DHS is ending protections for even more people—Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela. This could force over 500,000 people into dangerous and unstable conditions. TPS is a key tool for stability and humanitarian protection, grounded in our legal and moral obligations. I urge you to speak out against this reckless decision, defend TPS, and work toward long-term protections for those at risk. Thank you for your leadership and continued attention to this urgent issue.
