Ensure Ukrainian Refugees Keep their Temporary Protected Status

To: Rep. Allen, Sen. Ossoff, Sen. Warnock

March 7

Please take action today to ensure that Ukrainian refugees maintain their temporary protected status in the US through October 19, 2026. Do not let this administration send them back into harm's way. U.S. President Donald Trump said on Thursday that he would soon decide whether to revoke temporary legal status for some 240,000 Ukrainians who fled the conflict with Russia, following a Reuters report that his administration planned to take that step. Such a move would be a stunning reversal of the welcome Ukrainians received under President Joe Biden's administration and potentially put them on a fast-track to deportation. This is nothing short of depravity. Revoking emergency immigration status for war victims of our allies is almost the lowest of the low. I as your constituent urge you to save these people and to not send them back to their country, to let them rebuild and recover from tragedy, loss, and trauma. Please speak out loudly about this issue. These people will have targets on their backs if sent back to Ukraine, in addition to their entire lives being uprooted and flipped upside down *again*. Stand up for freedom. Protect these Ukrainian souls. (Source: https://www.uscis.gov/humanitarian/temporary-protected-status/TPS-Ukraine)
