Honorable Gentlewomen: Elon Musk and Donald Trump are breaking our Social Security system. Last week, the acting head of the Social Security Administration (SSA) even threatened to completely shutter the agency — putting the benefits millions rely on in serious jeopardy. Now, a reckless new so-called “anti-fraud” policy that could deny benefits to people could come into effect in a few weeks. Trump’s government has gone after SSA with a complete disregard for the income that seniors and people with disabilities need to live. Destroying the government is the priority, no matter what happens to the American people. Trump’s billionaire Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick even suggested seniors wouldn’t complain if they didn’t receive their monthly check. Congress must take a stand and protect people receiving Social Security from the reckless actions of this billionaire-dominated administration. Musk’s DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) team is firing employees at SSA and closing local Social Security offices. Things have gotten so bad that real people are having their Social Security benefits cancelled by Musk’s cronies who only care about cuts. I need you to fight for Social Security right now, before Musk and DOGE delay and cut benefits for millions of seniors. Don’t let Musk, DOGE, and Trump destroy the Social Security Administration!
