Vote NO on H.R.22 (SAVE Act). H.R. 22 is voter suppression for no reason. There’s no major wave of voter fraud in the U.S. the SAVE Act will just make it more difficult for American citizens to vote. As a woman who changed her name when she got married, my legal name no longer matches my birth certificate. This is the case for the majority of married women in this country. Not everyone has a passport to show proof of citizenship and many people rely on their birth certificate. H.R. 22 puts married women’s right to vote in jeopardy. The SAVE Act has the potential to disenfranchise the majority of married female voters. Do not support H.R. 22!
