People are being tortured and detained at our borders because they are Green Card holders and have traveled. They are trying to and at times destroying the Green Cards to deport legal residents. What is Congress doing to stop this? ICE is also detaining, without reason, travelers with travel visas. Why is Congress allowing this? I’m disgusted by the lack of action and attention to the torture the Trump/Musk administration is putting on people while Congress does the bare minimum and becomes time travelers. The Democrats need to take the Republican decision to make all days equal one day to court or wherever because unless everyone stays in Washington and works 24/7 without breaks, you have a change in the day. Do something for the Columbia grad student, the traveler held for over a week in Rhode Island and was tortured before ending in hospital, the German tourist who was detained after returning for a quick trip to Mexico on a tourist visa, the British backpacker who has been detained and everyone else. We elect our representatives to look out for us. Who are you looking out for?
