You need to have a talk with your colleagues. I just saw there are 10 Democratic congressmen who are joining republicans to vote to censure Al Green of Texas for his disruption on Tuesday. I am disappointed that the entire Democratic contingent failed to stand and further disrupt with him. Failing to demonstrate solidarity is sending a very poor message to voters. This is no time to buckle to the imaginary threat of making a decision that might not look good in a tight district. This doesn't deter Republicans. They will very soon be coming after SS & and MC, and they are showing that they don't care about the opinions of their constituents by canceling town halls. As the sign Rep. Slotkin held, saying, "This is not normal," and this is no time to normalize this by observing "rules" of decorum. That certainly didn't stop Boebert and Greene. We are at a crossroads and we need your help and leadership now more than ever. People are going to have to take to the streets and with trump just itching to call for martial law so he can fulfill his wet dream to call in the military to "shoot them in the legs" we could be in for a very dismal future. Today's news of layoffs, a negative February jobs report and a horrible start to the day on Wall Street, it's easy to see where we're headed. And this is just domestically. Please, get angry and get loud. The GOP, trump, musk and DOGE are working at blitzkrieg speed to trash democracy and the Constitution. Business as usual IS NOT AN OPTION!
