Don’t think we don’t know who is allowing all this to happen. And I’m talking about Congress. Each member is as responsible as Trump and Elon for the suffering that is happening to each American family. Don’t think we are foolish enough to not realize that each of you hold the power as a collective to put an end to this. And don’t be foolish enough to think we won’t remember this when elections roll around. I am apparently not a big enough person to find forgiveness for you. And I will admit that I hope the stand you are taking will come back and bite you all in your fat asses. You better hope that your pockets are deeply filled with the bounty of lobbyists to see you through til the end, for I’m pretty sure, after watching the town halls you refuse to hold or attend, you days in DC are close to over.
I have a real question for each of you. How do you sleep? Knowing that I was personally responsible for a veteran unable to seek health care or personally responsible for a child going to bed hungry would give me atrocious nightmares. You? Not so much, apparently, because you allow this to happen.
Shame, shame, shame on you all.
