Embrace immigrant rights, reject mass deportation agenda
To: Rep. Ryan
From: A constituent in Cornwall, NY
March 30
Protecting immigrants and upholding their rights is crucial for a just and humane society. Mass deportation would tear apart families, disrupt communities, and impose immense human suffering -- in addition to the staggering economic costs outlined in this report. We must reject policies rooted in xenophobia and embrace our nation's diversity and immigrant heritage. Instead of mass deportation, we should pursue practical reforms that respect human dignity, reunite families, and provide a path to legal status for those already contributing to our communities and economy. This is not only the morally right thing to do, but vital for our nation's future prosperity. I urge you to stand up for immigrants and oppose any inhumane mass deportation agenda.
