The recent revelations about Edward Coristine, the DOGE staffer known as "Big Balls," providing technical support to a cybercrime ring are deeply concerning. Coristine's company, DiamondCDN, facilitated operations for the group EGodly, which engaged in criminal activities such as data theft, cyberstalking law enforcement, and making hoax emergency calls. Despite Coristine's young age, his connections to such malicious actors raise serious questions about his suitability for a position with access to government networks. Allowing someone with proven ties to cybercriminals to retain a role in the Department of Government Efficiency poses an unacceptable risk to national security and public safety. Coristine's actions aided a group that targeted law enforcement officials, compromised sensitive data, and engaged in other illicit activities. Such conduct is incompatible with the trust and integrity required for government service, especially in roles related to cybersecurity and infrastructure protection. In light of these deeply troubling revelations, I urge you to take immediate action to terminate Edward Coristine's employment and bar him from any further involvement with the Department of Government Efficiency or access to government systems. His association with cybercriminal elements demonstrates a profound lack of judgment and a disregard for the rule of law that cannot be tolerated in positions of public trust. Swift and decisive action is necessary to safeguard the integrity of government operations and send a clear message that such behavior will not be condoned.
