I am aware that President Trump is given to hyperbole, as well, Americans reading the news are painfully aware of his preferred communication style. However, openly threatening Iran with war if they do not take actions that would be beneficial to the United States or at least make Republicans happy is a fool’s errand. I’m not certain that Iran has a sense of humor about any such remarks. With so many of our young people serving in / near the Persian Gulf in the military, the possibility for miscalculation is not zero. In addition, force feeding a negotiated nuclear deal with Iran is absolutely uncertain to work and even less certain to alleviate any risk to the west. Iran is absolutely capable of subterfuge and the issue might be alleviated by doing more to solve the Palestinian conflict. In any case, Trump making these pronouncements is dangerous and we need to think of a way to get it to stop or pass the world the news that Democrats realize he Is off the rails. Thank you.
