I am writing to you to strenuously oppose the treatment of Mahmoud Khalil. This treatment is flagrantly illegal and a direct attack on free speech. To claiming they can cancel his permanent residency to shipping him to Louisiana to denying him access to his lawyer, this must be opposed. If not, there's nothing to stop Trump from doing this to whoever he wants. Democrats need to grow a spine and start really disrupting this White House. If not now, when? This is the clearest attack yet by Trump on democracy, and you cannot let it stand.
