Do not let developers encroach on the Everglades. If the Trump Administration plans to send the Army Corps of Engineers packing, a plan must be put in place to protect Florida’s most critical habitat and maintain it as a flood management zone during storms. If you and your colleagues in Congress don’t act for Florida, despite what cuts the Trump Administration plans to make (and you of all people should know what percentage of the budget the Army Corps of Engineers actually costs the American people—it’s a pittance and so necessary!) our natural resources will disappear under the same towers and development that Trump himself loves more than anything. Look into your conscience.
