Animal Cruelty Should Not Be Tolerated in New York State

To: Assembly Member Woerner, Gov. Hochul, Sen. Tedisco

From: A verified voter in Ballston Spa, NY

March 13

It is deeply concerning to learn about the horrific cruelty inflicted upon an innocent animal. Christopher Maxwell's alleged actions of starving a dog and setting it on fire are nothing short of appalling and deserve the most severe punishment under the law. Such blatant disregard for life and infliction of suffering cannot be tolerated in a civilized society. This case calls for the harshest possible charges and sentencing to send a clear message that animal cruelty will face serious consequences. Decisive action must be taken to prevent further harm and uphold justice for the voiceless victims.
