The “Houthi” group chat was using Signal to avoid those communications being retained, as a way to avoid subpoenas and FOIAs. I repeat, our government is using 3rd party software to discuss OPSEC and Top Secret levels of communication in avenues that avoid discovery, FOIA, archival laws and is intentionally illegal.
Further, someone had to transfer top secret intel from a seccured device to an unsecured device with the direct intent on sharing it illegally. Everyone on that group chat knew they were not only commiting a crime, but circumventing national security protections.
Will you demand resignations or investigations into government communications taking place on unsecured channels that are in clear violation of our national security laws?
