I am writing to urge you to take immediate action to correct a grave injustice committed against Kilmer Abrego Garcia, who was illegally deported without due process. The administration has acknowledged their error in deporting him, yet they refuse to take the necessary steps to bring him home.
This is an outrageous violation of basic human rights and the rule of law. If our government can admit fault yet still deny justice, what does that say about our commitment to due process and fairness? No one should be unlawfully removed from the country, stripped of their rights, and then ignored when the mistake is recognized.
I am asking you, as my elected representative, to:
1 Demand accountability from the administration and insist on immediate action to return Kilmer Abrego Garcia to the U.S.
2 Push for a full investigation into how this deportation occurred and why the government refuses to rectify its admitted mistake.
3 Ensure protections are in place to prevent similar due process violations in the future.
Justice delayed is justice denied. Kilmer Abrego Garcia should never have been deported, and every day that passes without action compounds this unjust and inhumane treatment. I urge you to use your platform to fight for his immediate return.
I look forward to your response and to seeing you stand up for justice, due process, and human rights.
