Speak out loudly against the sitting down of the Department of Education and the dismantling of the Institute of Museum and Library Services!!!! This is insane! It's obviously not for "efficiency," it's to destroy education in America. This can't be allowed! Education is what gives people opportunities and makes us compete on the global stage. In a world with AI taking jobs, it's even more important. And it's what gives people an understanding of the world and to be informed citizens. It's obvious that making it a state's rights issue is to allow state's to control and limit what's taught and to enable private religious schools to cannibalize funding for public education that the vast majority rely on and to even put specific religious teachings in public schools, against the rights of Americans to practice their own religions without government interference. It's unbelievable that our education could be allowed to be dismantled at the whims of a handful of billionaires. The checks and balances need to step up and stop this. You need to speak out loudly and lead the way for Congress to block this.
