There is so much terrible stuff happening to this country I sometimes feel so disheartened that I can’t think what to write. But I feel the pressure of my Revolutionary War ancestors, my Union Army ancestors, my German immigrant ancestors, and my Dad who served in WWII to keep speaking out. Today I learned that we are not going to try to track the Ukrainian children kidnapped by Russia. By Putin. We are ending our efforts to monitor Russian sabotage and subversion of the West. We are giving Putin everything he wants. I remember when the Republican Party stood against tyranny in the world. Under Trump your party has become a fascist cult. You have turned your back on what it means to be Americans. We are all going to suffer for this. When will it be enough? When will you speak out? Trump is ending the USA as we know it. Do you hate this country so much that you won’t stand up for it? The fascism was at the gate, now it’s in the house.
