Why is being any job including staying a congressman more important ceding your principals to make sure you keep it? Why do you continue to cow to Trump even though he tramples on the very fabric of our country. You truly are on board with rigging the systems so the Democrats never rule again?! You really are that spineless of a human that you are destroying the future if our country because you want to be a senator again? In democracy after democracy education and the law are the two institutions that undergirds the rule of law. Those are being attacked right now by Trump threatening any law firm that follows the rule of law like it is supposed to. It also is attacking education by abolishing the Department of Education, putting a wack job in charge of public health and firing scientists across agencies. He is also trying to squelch any protest. He is threatening colleges and law firms that don’t support his agenda.You don’t care at all about the 1st Amendment of the Constitution because it benefits your party right now?! You are ok with our country becoming an autocracy? Trump is saying that he wants to go for a 3rd term and that he is not kidding. Unfortunately none of this is fear mongering. Our country is in great peril. You certainly are not living up to actual conservative ideals. Multiple experts on fascism and authoritarianism are sounding the alarms and saying that the speed and pace of what is happening exceeds how fast democracy was toppled in the recent examples of Poland and Hungary. Don’t you want to know you stood for our country withstanding this peril and maintaining a democracy then any dumb pet project you want to go through going through?! Your descendants will live on this planet after you are gone. Do you want to allow the almost 250 year democracy to topple under your watch because of your actions? You are allowing open corruption right now. People are being allowed to bribe Trump and his family who will take over for favor with the meme coin. Elon Musk is firing protections we have in place that investigate businesses or any department that was investigating him. He was also awarding himself contracts even though he already is the richest person on the planet and it is all based on government contracts or falsehoods. His stock price for Tesla was artificially inflated way beyond what it was worth. Please grow a spine before it is too late.
