The Commerce Secretary just said that seniors won't care if the Social Security check doesn't come. The Commerce Secretary is very much mistaken. Trump, Musk and DOGE seem to think that they can run roughshod over everyone and anything they like because nobody is standing in their way. You, dear co ngressperson, are the one we expect to stand in the way. To be clear about my expectations: DOGE has no right to my private information; DOGE has no right to stop the Social Security checks that so many of your constituents (including me) depend on; You should be standing up to protect us from any attempt to steal away our hard-earned Social Security checks. We paid into the system for decades; that money is ours. I've been very disappointed in the refusal of Republicans to stand up to Trump's wrecking ball, and I keep wondering where Congress will draw the line -- or if it ever will. Stand up for your constituents on this issue at least. Millions of seniors will suffer without their hard-earned Social Security checks. ewarded in the end.
