While no medication is without risk, RFK Jr.'s fearmongering campaign against SSRIs ignores the overwhelming body of evidence demonstrating their effectiveness in improving lives. His claims not only spread misinformation but also stigmatize those who seek help for their mental health conditions. Mental health care in this country is already underfunded and stigmatized, and RFK Jr.'s irresponsible statements only exacerbate these issues.
