The Trump Administration is destroying the U.S. economy. While our tax money is wastefully spent on DOGE initiatives, scores of workers are being let go from their federal jobs and scores more are let go from companies that rely on government contracts and government workers. Ongoing inflation plus the tariffs that Trump announced yesterday only further the likelihood that we are entering into a recessionary period that’s worse than any seen in the U.S. in decades. At the same time, the administration is gutting social safety net programs that ensure our most vulnerable citizens (e.g. children, disabled veterans, seniors) have a roof over their heads and food to eat. What are you doing to safeguard the livelihoods of your constituents? How are you ensuring our economy doesn’t implode? Why aren’t you speaking out against this administration’s awful economic policies?
