Wealthy individuals and businesses are paying exorbitant sums, up to $5 million, to gain private access and face time with the President at Mar-a-Lago. This transactional arrangement raises serious ethical and legal concerns. By monetizing the presidency for personal enrichment, President Trump appears to be violating the Emoluments Clause of the Constitution which prohibits federal officeholders from receiving payments from foreign governments or entities. Furthermore, allowing only the wealthiest few to purchase influence perpetuates an undemocratic pay-to-play system that undermines equal representation and corrodes public trust in government. I urge you to uphold your constitutional duty by investigating these disturbing reports and taking appropriate measures to stop the President from improperly profiting off the highest office in the land.
