Medicaid is on the chopping block. Please protect Medicaid funds in Alabama. Alabama Medicaid can not function if these types of cuts are made. Only children, disabled and pregnant women qualify for Medicaid in Alabama, so I don't know what could possibly be cut and Medicaid survive on any level. Medicaid providers are poorly reimbursed, causing difficulties with finding providers for children as it is. Please advocate for the most vulnerable in our state.
