The hits to our Country and to Oklahoma just keep coming. Have you noticed? I can’t tell as your silence is deafening! Recently I called your office and your staffer, who was clearly tired of listening to me, tried to interrupt and end the call and hung up abruptly at the end of my long winded list of concerns! I am tired of calling and tired of hearing myself voice list endless concerns as well! If you were addressing any of these, then I wouldn’t need to be so vociferous! Clearly your staffer doesn’t understand that it’s his job ( just as it is yours) to listen to constituents no matter how tiring! The more you remain silent, the more constituents like myself and others will be talking. So please tell your staffers to settle in and get used to our calls and letters. What continues to unfold is insane and distressing! The latest insanity is the breach of military war plans on a commercial app. Signal. The journalist released the information only after being attacked by the President. As this is investigated, there is no accountability and lies are being told. I’ve heard Republican Senators refer to it as a mistake! A blunder this big is beyond a mistake. It’s against our law and puts lives at risk! If this had been Biden, we all know you would be loud and relentless and call for impeachment of all those involved! This is an egregious act. It makes Hillary’s email look small and indeed by comparison it is! We continue to have death by a thousand cuts to social security! Your offers to assist offers a bandaid! The bandaid is not enough. Now myself, my older sister, my retired friend, my disabled friend and so many I know worry that their check won’t come in! My friend who was recently treated for cancer fears cuts to social security as she attempts to survive the financial hit of medical cuts! We expect this system to become less effective and potentially collapse! Cuts to the VA are also imploding that system. As VA services were expanded through the Pact Act, the cuts to 1/3 of the staff will also diminish those services. We all know the intent is to privatize everything! services This an effort to privatize everything! If you want to claim it’s fraud, demand transparency and let’s see examples so we all know! No evidence has been forthcoming. We have legal citizens being locked up without due process because they’ve participated in peaceful protest. You should be loudly speaking out on this! Our Judiciary is being threatened by calling out the illegality of what is happening! Again you are silent! Canada has broken ties with us! Greenland doesn’t want a visit from us! The EU has warned against us! This leaves our country weaker! Silence from you! Our lives are getting harder. I continue to hope you’ll speak up for Oklahoma. To be silent is to be complicit! We need better!
