Trump’s Costly Mass Deportation Plan Hurts Michigan
To: Rep. Bergman
From: A verified voter in Marquette, MI
March 6
I am deeply concerned about the high cost of Trump’s mass deportation and family separation plans. These policies divert resources from public safety, raise costs for families, and put health care at risk—all while failing to make our country safer.
His plan is funded by:
✔ Medicaid cuts, stripping health care from children, seniors, and veterans.
And it results in:
✔ Higher grocery prices, as farms lose workers and food rots in fields.
✔ Weakened law enforcement, as officers are pulled from fighting violent crime and fentanyl to deport law-abiding families.
Congress should be protecting public safety, lowering costs, and strengthening the economy—not funding cruel, costly policies that hurt working Americans.
As your constituent, I urge you to:
✔ Oppose Medicaid cuts that fund mass deportations.
✔ Keep law enforcement focused on crime and fentanyl, not family separations.
✔ Reject policies that drive up costs for families and businesses.
Michiganders in the First District deserve leadership that protects our well-being. Will you take a stand, or will you stay silent?
