The United States Constitution gives Congress the power of the purse, not the president. It is absurd that a single man is unilaterally destroying almost a century of US economic power in less than three months. I expect my representatives in Congress to put an end to Trump’s tariff insanity immediately. I don’t care how it’s done, but remove the president’s ability to destroy the economy.
