I am writing in support of Rep. Jayapal and Rep. Tlaib’s new bills blocking the sending of billions of dollars of arms to Israel - HJR 68, HJR 69, HJR 70, and HJR 71. PM Netanyahu is attempting an authoritarian takeover much like the one President Trump is perpetrating here - prior to October 7th he was in danger of being removed by the public for his tyrannical judicial reform, and he has since perpetuated the so-called war in Gaza to escape prosecution and remain in power. Please champion these bills and keep billions of dollars in the U.S. where they’re badly needed thanks to Trump and Musk, instead of sending them to fuel a corrupt regime’s genocide.
