I highly oppose Cynthia Lummis's crypto bill. This bill would take taxpayer dollars and use them to purchase extremely unstable cryptocoin. This is a horrendous use of government funds. Investing in cryptocurrency of any kind is akin to investing all your savings into Beanie Babies or any similar fad. Cryptocurrency's value is exclusively reliant on its popularity, and as trends die, so do the dollars invested in them. I urge you- do not waste taxpayer dollars on this fool's errand! Keep our gold reserve as it is! Gold keeps its value over centuries-- dozens of different cryptocurrencies are born and die within DAYS as trends change and people's interests shift. Not to mention the strong ties between cryptocurrencies and numerous scams, as well as the catastrophic drain that cryptocurrencies impose on water and electricity resources. I beg you-- oppose this bill! Vote NO on senator Lummis's Bitcoin Act of 2025!
