Executive branch is responsible for the public health of Americans. Thus the cancellation by health and human services of $12 billion to the states is a significant blow to American health. There are infectious diseases active now that need to be monitored, tested and reported. This is the worst time to cut funding in this area. Funding that was authorized by Congress. I urge you to stand up and speak out about reinstating these grants to the states.
