This is it. This is the moment where you decide whether the United States is still a democracy—or if you’re going to stand by while Trump steamrolls the rule of law and turns this government into his personal dictatorship. A federal judge issued an order. Trump ignored it. His administration defied a direct court ruling and deported people anyway. That is illegal. That is authoritarianism in action. And if Congress doesn’t put a stop to it right now, then it’s only going to get worse. If he can ignore the courts today, what’s stopping him from ignoring elections tomorrow? What’s stopping him from ignoring Congress—ignoring YOU? This administration is: • Reviving a 1798 wartime law to justify mass deportations. • Flouting an active court order, daring anyone to stop them. • Proving that if Congress doesn’t act, they can and will do whatever they want. And what are you doing about it? I don’t want a strongly worded press release. I don’t want political posturing. I want action. 1. Condemn this defiance of the judiciary in the strongest terms possible. 2. Use every power you have—hearings, subpoenas, legislation—to hold this administration accountable. 3. Make it crystal clear that if Trump keeps ignoring the law, he will face real consequences. Because if you don’t stop him now, you never will. This is how democracy dies—not all at once, but piece by piece, with every weak politician too afraid to act. Don’t be one of them. Do your job. Stand up. Fight back. Before it’s too late.
