If you refuse to stand up to this, then step aside for someone who will. Let me remind you: you are an elected official, put in office to represent us, your constituents. Not your donors. Not your party leadership. Not your own personal ambitions. The American people are watching as you ignore their voices and allow corruption and authoritarianism to take root. There is a reason Mike Pence isn’t vice president today—because he found his line. Where is yours? Do your job. Stop the unanimous consent in the Senate. Reject any budget that slashes Social Security, Medicaid, and Medicare to serve the wealthiest elites. Demand accountability for those who exploit our government for personal gain.
