The Signal Chat Debacle is proof positive that getting rid of DEI had nothing to do with merit based hiring. It had everything to do with racism, sexism, and loyalty to Trump. If merit were the issue, Hegseth and Company would never have been appointed. Talk about inexperienced! Incompetent! Dangerous! Which of our allies will trust us with Intel now? How many of our operatives will feel that they are unprotected? This kind of recklessness is unacceptable. Hegseth needs to be fired, along with the rest of the team Trump and Vance impeached. Have they no shame?
