The effort to investigate and potentially dismantle corporate diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives is concerning. These programs aim to promote fairness and opportunity within organizations. Attacking DEI undermines principles of inclusivity that strengthen businesses and society. Rather than fighting against DEI, we should recognize its value in cultivating diverse perspectives and equitable workplaces. While the current administration has eliminated DEI programs in its own departments, companies should be left to determine polices based on their own business needs and the desire of their shareholders, if any. Stop government overreach.
