Please consider the following facts to help all U.S. citizens fight to restore the damage done to our public lands, employees and programs. YOU have a voice and the authority we do not have. YOU can correct the serious mistakes made by the Trump administration, and YOU have the resources to influence other Republicans. FACTS: National Parks are for ALL people. National Parks and Forests are national treasures. Parks and public lands generate significant economic benefits for surrounding areas. In short, in 2023, 325 million park visitors spent an estimated $26.4 billion in local gateway regions while visiting National Park Service lands across the country. Illegal firings and delayed seasonal hirings WILL impact public lands. Termination of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility programs WILL make public lands less safe and work groups less innovative. Please do your duty as an elected official to protect our public lands and make sure ALL fired employees are reinstated (as directed by a federal judge recently). You can make a difference!
