This bill drastically infringes on the right to bear arms guaranteed by the Second Amendment. It would prohibit the manufacture, sale, and purchase of many common semiautomatic firearms. The extensive new regulations, mandatory training requirements, and bans on lawful accessories amount to unconstitutional government overreach. Governor Polis must veto this draconian legislation that unduly restricts the freedoms of law-abiding citizens.
