congress “Every Republican member of the Senate and House caused the stock market crash and predicted recession by refusing to use Congress’s constitutional authority over all tariffs to block the illegal Trump tariffs.” ~ Lawrence O’Donnell MSNBC How stupid do you think we are? There was never a “national emergency” of trade imbalances or anything that resembled a crisis, but yet, YOU allowed the lies to spread, the truth to be hidden, and gave Trump full access and power to enable his dangerous and ignorant tariffs. YOU are responsible for the loss of literally trillions of dollars in value, including a huge devalue of my IRA accounts, and this will only get worse. This wasn’t a “market correction” as some congressional Republicans have stated. This was caused by an ignorant understanding of economics and how tariffs work. Ask any farmer in Iowa how things are going, and they will tell you there are some serious pricing and cost issues on the way they may not be able to afford. You are again, enabling a dictator who does not have the mental capacity to truly understand how the world works.
