Tomorrow March 20 ... DOGE will dismantle the tiny agency of the Institute of Museum and Library Services. This tiny agency .. provides funding for Libby (audiobooks) Kanopy (streaming video service) and Ebooks for public libraries across the country. Libraries are so valuable to rural Iowa ...I do not know how I would have survived the death of my husband and 2020 without Libby. Libby is with me everyday while I operate a Silos and Smokestacks partner site ( that you are defunding) And now ... YOU are taking it away from me. The only person that wins is Jeff Bezos. Andrew Carnegie built libraries around the country to educate. And Republicans are dismantling public schools and libraries. Save the IMLS!!!
