I am asking you to investigate and call for the resignation of Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and other top officials in the Trump administration due to their reckless and unlawful disclosure of national security secrets. Their actions have put our country at risk, and immediate accountability is necessary. They actively downplaying their roles in this and I ask you use your power to open investigations and see that they are held to account. It is my understanding they are to use a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (pronounced “skiff”), or other approved  U.S. Department of Defense (http://www.defense.gov/) secure methods. They did not. They illegally used a phone app anyone can access, against protocol, to discuss classified military secrets. On top of that they accidentally added a civilian without security clearance and sent him classified military secrets. They put military lives at risk through their own hubris. If that person was not upstanding, they could have caused the death of American soldiers. We only know about this breach and group chat because they accidentally included a reporter. Why are they illegally using other channels to communicate besides to avoid subpoenas and the rule of law? What other illegal chats are happening and why? I call on you to defend our military and national security by opening an investigation to find out and have all involved to resign and face criminal action. If you do not, I want to know why you are continuing to place our military and our society at risk. I await your response.
