Reinstate Funding for Overdrive

To: Rep. Johnson, Sen. Lewis, Gov. Kehoe

From: A verified voter in Kansas City, MO

March 12

The Secretary of State has pulled funding for Overdrive, a digital library app, which is a service many Missourians use to access books, news, and other media. Secretary Hoskins has stated this is to ensure minors cannot access sexually explicit content. While that is a generally good idea, the lack of funding will have impact to the many people who are not minors. Please reinstate the funding for Overdive, Libby, and Sora, so our fellow Missourians don't lose access to this amazing resource. I use the services myself as an avid reader and want to ensure it is available in the future.
