The United States must maintain strong support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity in the face of Russian aggression. Any viable peace agreement cannot reward Putin's illegal invasion by forcing Ukraine to cede territory or abandon its aspiration for NATO membership. Credible security guarantees that protect Ukraine's independence are imperative. Capitulating to Russia's demands would undermine international norms and invite further belligerence. The administration's dismissive treatment of President Zelenskyy and willingness to engage directly with Russia while excluding Ukraine is deeply concerning. Achieving a just resolution requires respecting Ukraine as an equal partner. Negotiations cannot be a mere pretense to force concessions that violate Ukrainian sovereignty and self-determination. The United States has a moral obligation and strategic interest in preserving a sovereign, democratic Ukraine. Wavering resolve now would erode America's global standing and betray our principles. Steadfast bipartisan support from Congress is critical to ensuring Ukraine emerges from this conflict secure within its rightful borders. Please prioritize measures that safeguard Ukrainian interests and uphold the rules-based international order.
