Reminder: with the budget vote coming up, your constituents are watching closely what you are doing. The current House plan leaves no other option than to cut Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security. Many of your constituents count on these benefits. Seniors like myself paid into it our whole working lives as insurance in our retirement. Without it, we won’t survive. Hospitals will go under (especially rural ones). Nursing Homes will go under (they count on Medicaid to survive). If you’re pro life then you must know that a good percentage of births are paid for by Medicaid. Billionaires don’t need tax breaks. They need to pay their fair share. (If they did these programs would be solvent). Please support a budget that helps your constituents not just a few billionaires.
